I definitely loved her as Bismuth though, and I'd love to see more of her in the role. However, the Bismuth special kinda left the character in a hard spot to return from though...
I'm sure she'll be back, no doubt

I dunno. I think she scared Steven so badly I don't think he'd release her again - even with his "I can save everyone!"-attitude.

Wait, you actually liked Bismuth Strong? I honestly dislike Bismuth. I always wanted Bismuth to be a villain, in the form of an extremist, as shown, which I got, but she SHOULD be gone forever. Here's why. First off, Bismuth's presence felt forced, everything from her involvement to the way the others were acting just annoyed me. And I honestly really don't like the character's design. Talk about ugly as all heck. It's stupid, to put it simply, and she seems just so...Bland. She's kind of a blank slate in the form of an extremist Gem. I like how she had a unique perspective for a Crystal Gem, and I honestly kind of liked Bismuth in this regard but I don't know, her ugly design and arrogance really put me off.
Oh, and there's enough cutesy crap in this show already. Not that I mind, but Bismuth not coming back would kind of add more depth to the series as a whole. I liked that she was this revolutionary wanting to shatter the higher ups and HW underlings but these are just my two cents.
Any strong lady is going to go over well with me. You should know that by now, heh. Bismuth, regardless of what you think of the execution, was a brilliant idea of a character. A Gem who joins the Crystal Gems, but very much deep down remains a Homeworld Gem in her mindset and actions. A Gem who wasn't converted to the hippy-dippy mindset of the Crystal Gems. Bismuth fully embraced the fact that they were embroiled in a civil war with their former Homeworld and didn't shy away from being just as merciless in return.
It really makes me wish she'd return for an episode where we find out just why exactly she joined up in the first place. It clearly wasn't for taboo love like Pearl and Garnet. We've just seen that Bismuth likes warefare, so why wasn't she just happy with forging weapons for Homeworld?

Honestly, we don't know if Bismuths are allowed to be blacksmiths on Homeworld. She only mentioned Bismuths being builders and both more.

I also love big buff women. Maybe that's why Agate and those other quartz (including Skinny Jasper, oh how I ADORE her, and Carnelian) were so loved by me, haha.
And about Bismuth. See? This was one of the issues I had. It never made sense for someone like Bismuth to even be a Crystal Gem, what with her old mentalities and such. Plus she wanted to kill Rose, and I'm guessing she tried it.
What if Bismuth is just a psycho? Hahaha. Or maybe she just loved warfare and wanted a challenge. I agree that it's a good idea, but the execution and that awful design had me put off.
Good ole Holly Blue is cool though.
But then I wouldn't say that is a sign that her character sucks, but rather that her character warrants more exploration.
As for her design, I like it. Mostly because I amazed myself by correctly guessing her role as blacksmith from her apron from the very start.
