  • Hi! This is a thread on what I think will happen in the Episode titled "Gem Harvest" (if it's not a fake leak) My thoughts are written, would love your opinions.

Steven wakes up and finds himself in the ground. Then, he emerges from the ground, finding himself in a facility.

He used his powers to become another person, this time a Gem

That Gem, is meant to be Harvested. Steven tries to escape to Earth, and succeeds, then wakes up and finds the Gem meant to be harvested.

The gems seen powering objects so far have been purple. Like Rose's Laser Light cannons, the gears in the Ancient Gem Colony Ship, and more that I can't think of.

I believe these Gems were the ones made to be Harvested.

    • I don't see this happening the paceing seems to be too fast and farfeched. Not trying to rag on ya but this seems to be unlikely to happen. Also I doub't theyed introduce us to a new gem like that. But hey it's just speculation.

That's why i made this. Cause people doubt that they would do this.

      P.S. no offense taken

    • I think it is cute, but I am guessing people who thought this was going to be some major episode of plot might be disappointed.

But hey, At least we know Tiger Philanthropist might be MORE Serious Episode than Gem Harvest! A Disappointed episode and the next one BOOM! That's how you set up StevenBomb! Well kindly

This gets rid of the Steven-waking-as-a-gem Theory. But the Gems meant to be harvested stays the same. Plus, the pumpkin might lead Peri & Lapis to a special place. They could fuse, find a object or Gem, or get seperated. Then, PART 2.

    • At the very least it's probably just an adorable farming episode but at the very most Peridot could talk about Gem Harvesting

    • Guys, Rebecca Sugar said at NYCC that it's an half hour special. If that doesn't make an episode big and important, I don't know what does. For comparison, our last half hour special was 'Bismuth', and we all remember the scale of that

But what bugs me is that it's an half hour episode with just Peridot and Lapis; if the CGs play any sort of major role in here they would've showed in the first 2 minutes of the episode, which they didn't. What involves those two that can possibly be so important that it requires the span of 2 episodes to flesh out, without any time spared for the other Gems? It looks like they are finally explaining that infamous Peri-quote from 'Catch and Release', or at the very least shed more light on the process of Gem creation ('I made you in my image!'), but how are they gonna fill in the rest of the time? ...Maybe a new fusion? Heart-wrenching character development as big Raven and Paul episodes usually have? A 20-minute montage of Lapis and Peridot making out in a pumpkin field?

On a side note, who do you guys think is the other storyboard team working on this one? I'm crossing my fingers for Florido and Zuke, for all the good Lapidots......

    • Here is my current thinking for this episode based on the tailer and the song that Tom and Rebecca sung at NYCC:

We know Steven used his plant creation powers to bring Veggie-Head to life and at the end of the clip he mentions a new addition to the family.  The song that Tom and Rebecca sung was about "Not being ready" maybe not being ready to be a father if it is a Greg song.  I think Lapis and Peridot will ask Steven about his plant power as it is a strange ability for a Gem which will lead to a conversation about Rose and then Greg, maybe even the "Ballad of Rose and Greg" Steven once tried to tell Peridot.  The rest of the episode will cover the final part of the "Story for Steven" arc and we will see their choice to have Steven play out.  I realize this may have little to do with the title, but when has that really affected SU?

    • Who cares about the plot anymore? This will be an half-hour special, so we will probably get new chibi-kawaii promos like the ones we saw during Bismuth, but this time featuring Peridot and Lapis! Nothing else matters!!! <3
